18- holes, par 73
The marvel of its vegetation, the giant hundred-year-old Chamaerops palm trees, the fig trees, so dramatic in winter that turn to joy in summer dressed in Adam and Eve’s clothes, the almonds with their four seasonal aspects, the pines, the round and perfect strawberry tree at the 15th hole, the wild olives and their civilised children, the monumental olives, the three different greens of the long suffering carob trees, those vines
which climb up from the wonderful gully which runs past the 10th, 11th and 12th holes, reaching the course and showing the happy chatter of their shoots, the strong wild shrubs witnesses to the islands’ history, and bushes, and irises, etc. All of this provides the scenery for our course, a real stroll through nature, in a course of average difficulty.
The text is an extract from the commentary written by Pepe Gancedo once the golf course was finished.
